On June 21st, we held our third in a series of on-line educational session we are calling Aegis University. This month’s topic was Optimization of Ultra-Span Trusses and it was by far the most highly attended event so far. More than 50 attendees from the majority of Aegis fabricators participated.
In this ultra-competitive market environment, where jobs are won or lost literally for a few dollars, the ability to provide the most efficient truss designs is essential. The Aegis team shared real-life examples of projects submitted by our fabricators who were in need of optimization assistance to help them secure work. Using powerful new tools in Aegis Design, we were able to help our customers identify thousands of dollars in material and labor savings that most surely will translate into future work for all of us.
